2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster ready for runway at Fashion Week

Among the most anticipated designers displaying their latest looks on the runways, Mercedes-Benz is also showcasing its Roadster and C63 AMG Coupe, two all new models available later this year.

The SLS AMG Roadster is a supercar convertible and sibling to the SLS AMG Coupe, known for its eye-catching Gullwing doors. The 563 horsepower decapotable will be shown in the Lobby of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, wearing Imola Grey with a natural brown woven leather interior.

The SLS AMG Roadster will be fashionably escorted to the event by the all new 2012 C63 AMG Coupe. The two-door C-Class is a cutting-edge design not previously available from the brand. The power plant produces 451 horsepower and also fluorishes the peak of style during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week campaign called Let Me C Your Style.

Let Me C Your Style features this season's Mercedes-Benz Presents Designer Derek Lam and website. The initiative kicks-off during Fashion's Night Out, TONIGHT looking for the most stylish girl on Crosby Street – an individual embodying casual, effortless style, a charismatic personality and exuding sheer confidence. Beyond the location of Derek Lam’s store, The Crosby street theme is a reference to the new 10 Crosby line from the designer.

Designer Derek Lam and casting director James Scully are in charge of finding the Crosby Girl. This one girl will win the ultimate package: two Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week invitations to the Derek Lam show, an opportunity to meet Derek Lam himself, VIP access to the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge, a 10 Crosby Derek Lam outfit, complimentary hair and makeup plus film crew sessions to capture her newfound celebrity status.

Throughout Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, attendees visiting the SLS AMG Roadster and C63 AMG Coupe instillation in the lobby can vote on their favorite Crosby Girl by answering "What Style Drives You?" Winners will be incorporated into an online lookbook.

Canadian Supermodel Jessica Stam will make an appearance tomorrow to show-off a visual photographed by Terry Richardson highlighting the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class Concept vehicle.
