Meanwhile in Germany, the company will add approximately 50 new consultants this year. They are recruiting industrial engineers focused o vehicle and automotive technology, mechanical engineering, manufacturing industry or aerospace, but also economists with expertise in production, logistics, procurement and purchasing, development or sales.
Porsche Consulting is currently one of the leading consulting firms in Germany. With customers ranging from the global business group to the SME -- consultants optimize internal systems ranging from production to supplier management, in the fields of research and development, marketing, sales and administration.
Their customers emerge from a diverse group including the auto industry, mechanical and electrical engineering, construction, aerospace, consumer goods industry, commerce, banking and insurance, health, traffic and transport.
They incorporate the principles of Lean Management, that is the reduction of activities not adding value, the elimination of waste and the promotion of value creation. The U.S. branch will specialize in Supply Chain Management, research optimization and development processes.
Porsche Consulting Inc. intends to generate 20 percent of its revenue with Porsche and Volkswagen and 80 percent with existing and new customers in the USA. Previously, management consultancy in the US was focused on customers from the automotive industry, aviation, electrical engineering and tourism sectors.
