New 2023 Toyota Sequoia Details Announced: How to Get TRD Off-Road and TRD Sport

Toyota held a “soft opening” of sorts yesterday. Toyota Sequoia fans visiting the Toyota.com website were greeted with newly-released option packages and pricing for 2023 Sequoia.

Although there are many options and packages available, I want to highlight how to get TRD Off-Road and TRD Sport packages.

Two of the most popular upgrade packages will be 2023 Sequoia TRD Off-Road and TRD Sport.

A Sequoia SR5 is available with both TRD Sport and TRD Off-Road package upgrades. The SR5 TRD Sport Package has an MSRP of $2,195. Sequoia SR5 TRD Off-Road Package retails for $1,750.

The 2023 Toyota Sequoia Limited also offers TRD Off-Road Package (but not TRD Sport Package), and exclusively on 4x4 Sequoia SUVs. This makes sense, of course, considering all the off-road resources with TRD Off-Road (more on that later).

2023 Sequoia TRD Sport

Sequoia SR5 TRD Sport Package comes with 20-inch TRD Sport alloy wheels, Bilstein shocks, TRD Sport badging, red push start button, TRD leather shift knob, and aluminum sport pedals.

For most, this would be more of an on-road upgrade and not one for the tougher and more challenging obstacles and terrain.

Toyota Sequoia TRD Off-Road

The more comprehensive optional upgrade package is the Sequoia TRD Off-Road Package. You can get this with SR5 and Limited.

As I mentioned, included electronically controlled locking rear differential, crawl control, downhill assist control, and multi-terrain select systems could really aid drivers off the road and on the trails.

Also plan for more TRD Off-Road features: 18-inch TRD Off-Road alloy wheels with all-terrain tires, TRD Off-Road badging, skid plate, off-road suspension with Bilstein shocks, red push start button, red front-axle drive shafts, TRD leather shift knob, and aluminum sport pedals.

This would be the one for serious off-road adventures when needed.
