How To Be One Of The First People To Own A Limited Edition Two-Door 2021 Ford Bronco

Bid on a Limited First Edition 2021 Ford Bronco with the Sasquatch body package and fully loaded. Proceeds benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

I’ve written a lot about the demand and excitement that is going on with the reboot of the Ford Bronco. All three iterations (two-door, four-door and Sport) are in high demand. Ford continues to move back the reservation end date, which now is end of January.

Clearly, the interest is high. Rumors of more than 100,000 orders have been unconfirmed but seem quite likely. Heck, when it was launched earlier this year, the demand was so high it broke Ford’s reservation website.

All of this means, people can’t wait to get their hands on the new Bronco. There’s a way to “jump the line” and get your hands on a Limited Edition two-door Bronco and it benefits a great cause.

Just yesterday I wrote about another Ford charitable push regarding the Bronco and the Bronco Wild Fund.

Members of the Ford family received a limited edition version of the Bronco. Calvin and Sarah Ford donated their Bronco to a charity near and dear to their heart, St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Sarah Ford has credited St. Jude with saving her life when she was 2 and diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She, along with her husband Calvin, who is the great-great grandson of Henry Ford, are active participants with St. Jude’s and also through the Ford Fund, the charitable arm of Ford Motor Company.

"Ford Fund is proud to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the important work they do to support families affected by pediatric cancer and other life-threatening diseases," said Jim Vella, president of the Ford Fund, the philanthropic arm of Ford Motor Company. "At the Ford Fund, our mission is to help make people's lives better and St. Jude does that every day by providing access to treatment and alleviating financial burdens for the children and families they serve."

Sarah Ford said, “Calvin and I support St. Jude because we trust St. Jude, because the cause is near to our hearts, and because we know St. Jude will never stop what it's doing until pediatric cancer is cured. We picture the children getting treatment and I know what they're going through. We decided to donate the Bronco because it is a symbol of the Ford brand of legacy and commitment - our hope is that the Bronco will generate thousands of dollars so we can continue to fund the life-saving treatment and research St. Jude does today and will continue to do until children everywhere do not have to lose their lives to cancer.”

Interior rendering of 2021 Ford BroncoLive Auction For Chance To Bid on Limited Edition Bronco
Through the website, Charitybuzz, you can bid on this one-of-kind build of a Limited Edition Two-Door Ford Bronco.

The auction is live now here on this website, and the auction remains open for bids until 3:01pm EDT on Oct. 29. The highest bid currently is $130,000.

The First Edition is a fully loaded Bronco combining the best parts of the all Bronco Series. The model uses the mechanicals of a Badlands, the interior of an Outer Banks, and the exterior of a Wildtrak to create the ultimate fully loaded Bronco. This is a limited-edition run, with only 7,000 being manufactured.

The Sasquatch Package includes 35-inch tires with 17-inch Beadlock Capable wheels, front- and rear- locking differentials, Bilstein position sensitive monotube shocks, 4.7 final drive ratio and high-clearance fender flares.

As we know, the 2.3-liter engine with the Sasquatch can now be built with a manual transmission, as I first reported earlier this year and thanks to a widely circulated petition.

It’s nice to see Sarah Ford giving back to an organization that means so much to her. Obviously a bid that will exceed $130,000 will be needed to secure this Bronco. If you have those kind of means and need a charitable write off, this is a chance to get a great-looking limited edition Bronco, likely before the rest of the masses can get one. And you’re helping a great cause and great organization like St. Jude’s to boot!
