I used to think Pirate Rock was what you did when you traded illegal copies of music. Now I realize it has something to do with some kid named Jake, a girl with some pixie dust, another kid that says "aww coconuts" a lot, and Captain Hook.
Back in the day, I bought a Yugo for $50, spent another $200 to get it running, and then had it break down and be completely useless as I was driving it to my girlfriend's house to give to her as a present. lol On the up side, I learned a lot of stuff about 3-cylinder engines that I really didn't need to know thanks to that POS.
who found a 1978 Dodge Aspen with a 360ci V8 in a junk yard...it was in awful physical shape but it ran...so they bought it for $300 and took it to their shop. they changed the fluids, adjusted the transmission, tuned up the engine, put slicks on it and added a very adjustable nitrous setup. they got that car into the mid 11s before the engine completely came apart.
