The all new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro “drops” tomorrow. For those that can’t wait another day, Camaro6 has a scroll of images. The new soft-top convertible is gorgeous and the new Alpha platform body will be well-suited to a slightly more compact Camaro. As you can see, the Camaro looks great with the top up or down. The hood vents done in black are functional we hear. The tonneau cover is neat and clean and the car has a “finished” look.
The new Camaro convertible also has a cool party trick. It’s top can be lowered while the vehicle is moving. As the owner of a car whose top cannot be retracted while moving I can attest to the fact that it is a pain in the neck. It is pretty common to want to lower (or raise) the top while at a stop-light. Being able to move at slower speeds while the top finishes its movement is a big deal in real life. You can watch the Camaro convertible’s top go down in this teaser video.
