Subaru sales have slipped in the UK, but the all-new 2018 Crosstrek crossover could change it in a hurry. Subaru aims to be 2018s fastest growing car brand in the UK, and to start the year off, the Japanese automaker brings the all-new Crosstrek (XV in Europe), to the Ideal Home Show 2018. What is Subaru UK doing pitching the new Crosstrek at a home show?
It gives young families in the market for homes the opportunity to see the all-new Crosstrek “in the metal.” The annual show, held at Olympia London runs from March 17 to April 2, 2018. The Crosstrek crossover will appeal to a younger demographic looking to buy a home, renovate, or looking to build an outside living area. It’s brilliant marketing for Subaru in the UK where sales have slipped.
Chris Graham, Managing Director of Subaru UK says, “The Ideal Home Show is a great opportunity for Subaru to interact with like-minded people, who love being active and creating new experiences for themselves and others to enjoy”.
It’s not their first attempt to bring the new Crosstrek to a younger demographic. Subaru UK also recently pitched the new Crosstrek at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show where it was all about adventure enthusiasts. They brought it to show how versatile the new Crosstrek all-wheel-drive crossover is for off-road camping adventures.
The Caravan, Camping, and Motorhome Show is the UK’s largest showcase of caravans, campervans, motorhomes, caravan holiday homes and lodges as well as new season tents, trailer tents and folding caravans. Crosstrek fits right in with its X-Mode off-road feature as buyers look to get away from civilization.
Subaru has a goal to be the fastest growing brand in the UK in 2018, and they are going after young homeowners, and outdoor enthusiasts, with the all-new 2018 Subaru Crosstrek.
