Can the Crosstrek get any hotter?

When Subaru redesigned the Crosstrek subcompact SUV, it received significant upgrades over the second-generation model. When Subaru introduced the all-new Crosstrek Wilderness, they took it up another level of hot.
Troy Poston, Senior Vice President of Sales at Subaru of America, says, "Another month of strong Crosstrek and Outback sales represents positive momentum as Subaru remains positioned for growth.

The all-new 2024 Crosstrek was the top seller among all Subaru nameplates last month and achieved its best July ever with 15,318 vehicles sold, a 36 percent increase over the same month in 2023 when SOA delivered 11,241 Crosstreks to customers.
Crosstrek now has 94,818 models delivered through seven months in 2024 compared with 87,371 in 2023, an 8.5 percent increase. Surprisingly, Crosstrek is still in third place in sales, just behind the Outback. But it's catching up.
The Outback has 95,907 sales through the first seven months of 2024, just 1,089 units ahead of the Crosstrek.
Two factors help Crosstrek achieve its best in July.
1. Customers get the Crosstrek sooner rather than later.
Subaru Corporation's strategic decision to shift Crosstrek production from Japan to the U.S. factory clearly demonstrated our commitment to our North American customers. This move not only reduced shipping delays but also enhanced their ownership experience.

Subaru of America introduced the new Crosstrek Wilderness, which was a quick success. Outdoor enthusiasts and those with active lifestyles appreciate the new rugged model. It received significant upgrades as it joined the Wilderness family.

What is the price of the Crosstrek Wilderness?

How does Wilderness compare in price to the other trims?
The Crosstrek is available in Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Wilderness trim levels. The base model starts at $26,540.
The 2024 Crosstrek Premium starts at $28,085, Sport ($30,935), and Limited ($32,440). Wilderness costs $33,540. It's important to note that these prices include destination and delivery fees ($1,345), which are standard across all models.
The Wilderness price is a great value, considering what you get.
The Crosstrek Wilderness is the Subaru of America's "go-anywhere" all-terrain capable subcompact SUV, and it's the ideal vehicle for all weather conditions with standard Symmetrical all-wheel-drive, 9.3 inches of ground clearance, X-Mode, and dual function X-Mode.
The most rugged and trail-capable Crosstrek has an upgraded suspension, all-terrain tires, more prominent wheel arch cladding, a metal front skid plate, unique hex-design LED fog lights, and an anti-glare hood decal in a matte-black finish. It has everything you want in an off-road-ready small SUV.
The Crosstrek Wilderness features a versatile ladder-type roof rack system with a 176 lb. dynamic load capacity and a 700-lb. static load limit, allowing safe use of larger roof-top tents.

Wilderness is equipped with Yokohama Geolander all-terrain tires for optimal mud, gravel, or snow performance and mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels in the matte-black finish. In addition, the tires are embossed with raised white letters.
How much will the Crosstrek Wilderness tow? The Wilderness will now have a 3,500 lb. towing capacity.
The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek set a sales record in July, partly due to the new outdoor-themed Wilderness trim level. It's not for everyone. Look at the new rugged model if you want to get further away from the city lights.
