New 2021 Subaru Forester, Outback, Crosstrek, and Ascent SUV customers first shop online before they ever visit a Subaru showroom. How easy is it to research a new Subaru online? According to a new report from Pied Piper, Subaru of America is better than the industry average and is the number seven automaker out of twenty-one brands.
The 2021 Pied Piper Omnichannel prospect satisfaction index for Electronic Vehicles (EVs) Auto Industry Study measures each car brand’s customer path, starting with their online search, dealer website, and in-person dealership visit.

The report says, “How customers shop completely changed in the late 2000s with widespread acceptance and use of smartphones. For example, in 2007, the year the iPhone was introduced, online retailer Amazon made $15 billion in sales. Last year, Amazon’s revenues exceeded $300 billion.”
For 21 different auto brands, Pied Piper measured whether their customer’s omnichannel path was intuitive, simple to use, and easy to navigate, as well as effective at showcasing products and making them easy to purchase.

Subaru of America scored well as its retailers understand their customers need to start with online research before they ever visit the showroom. In an earlier Pied Piper study in March, Subaru was one of the car brands with the most significant improvement from 2020 to 2021.
Subaru ranked nine out of 33 auto brands in the 2019 Pied Piper PSI Internet Lead Effectiveness Benchmarking Study. In 2020, Subaru moved up five spots to the number four best automaker in responding to your online questions.
Shoppers looking for a 2021 Subaru Forester, Outback, Crosstrek, or another model should find the dealer website easy to use, and more importantly, your local retailer will be quick to respond to your inquiries. Subaru now ranks number two overall in responsiveness.

Can not not afford a new Forester or outback,.
Seems the used ones have been going up instead of down. Did I miss the best buying window in 2019 or 2020 for used Subaru. Any suggestions,??
