Tesla Cybertruck Is Getting FSD 12.5
The Tesla Cybertruck has been without self-driving features for about 9 months now, since its release last November. This has caused an uproar from people who feel let down by Tesla.
However, that seems to all be changing as Elon Musk announced that the Tesla Cybertruck will get FSD version 12.5 once it releases. FSD 12.5 will also combine the highway and city stacks.
I'd expect that we'll see FSD 12.5 in another couple months. The announcement came after Chuck Cook posted about some Tesla vehicles shown doing unprotected left-hand turn testing with Starlink mini dishes on their roofs:

There are many Cybertruck owners who are likely looking forward to having FSD on their Cybertruck and even having it be the ultimate robotaxi.
Can you imagine it? A driverless Cybertruck mobile "Uber" that is going around and giving people rides. I think anyone who has a Cybertruck will be able to easily get people to ride in it and probably charge a premium price for the experience.

Tesla Cybertruck Is A Best Seller
FSD 12.5 isn't the only exciting news regarding the Cybertruck. It is now the best-selling EV truck over $100K in the U.S., beating both the Ford F-150 Lightning and the Rivian R1T combined.
Many wondered if the Tesla Cybertruck would sell at any volume, and it looks like that question is easily being answered. The Cybertruck is both ramping to volume production and selling even at $100K and more.
The Cybertruck is still in the Limited Foundation Series state, but will eventually come down in price as this period of sales ends and Tesla sells just "regular" Cybertrucks - if you can call the Cybertruck regular.

In May 2024, the Tesla Cybertruck sold 3,907 unit in the U.S. and the Ford F-150 Lightning and Rivian R1T combined sold 3,590.
All of this is great news for Tesla and the future of EVs.
Look for Tesla to release FSD 12.5 and maybe even FSD 12.6 this year as it inches closer and closer to autonomous vehicles.

I'll reiterate, why Tesla Cybertruck is ideal for police use. The body panels of the Cybertruck would be safer against gunfire. The FSD could possibly allow the vehicle to pilot to a hospital/station with people who are injured and/ or unconscious.
