A Custom Built "Cyber Roadster" From A Crashed 2018 Dual-Motor Model 3
A year and a half ago, David Andreyev, also known as Cyber Hooligan on Twitter and YouTube, talked about a crashed 2018 Dual-Motor Tesla Model 3 that he bought for $14,000 from Copart. For the last year and a half, he has been working on his Cyber Roadster transformation from this car, which has the best of both worlds from the New Roadster and the Tesla Cybertruck.
He also bought a Toyota Prius for $800 that he did some transformation work on too.
He had this to say in his original video:
I'm going to chop that thing. I'm going to gut it completely, take all the skin off - everything, the doors. I'm going to take it down to the bare bones. I need it to run, and I'm going to completely strip it. I'm going to paint with a completely new canvas. It's going to have the Cybertruck look to it. I'm going to outdo the Cybertruck.
The Cyber Roadster is the brainchild of David Andreyev, a Tesla enthusiast and YouTuber known as Cyber Hooligan. He drew inspiration from two highly anticipated Tesla vehicles: the Cybertruck and the next-gen Roadster. The goal was to create a Tesla Model 3-based vehicle that combined the best of both worlds, resulting in a sleek and futuristic sports car with a distinctive appearance and performance.
The closest thing I could find to what David is trying to achieve was the black matte New Tesla Roadster.

David Andreyev, known as Cyber Hooligan, is certainly pushing the boundaries of innovation with this vehicle.
Building the Cyber Roadster, Andreyev started with a Tesla Model 3 - from 2018 and a dual-motor variant, which he then modified extensively to achieve the desired look and feel. The project involved lowering the roofline, extending the rear C-pillar, reshaping the headlights, and widening the fenders to create a more aerodynamic and aggressive appearance. The body panels were replaced with custom-made parts, and the interior was also modified to match the exterior's futuristic design.

A Year and a Half Long Project
Key Features and Design Elements:
The Cyber Roadster boasts several unique features that set it apart from other custom cars. These include:
A lowered roofline and extended C-pillar, giving the car a sleek and sporty look.
Custom-made body panels and fenders, designed to mimic the sharp, angular lines of the Cybertruck
Reshaped headlights and a light bar in the rear, which pay homage to the Cybertruck's distinctive lighting design.
A custom-built roll cage, which not only adds to the car's structural rigidity but also enhances its sporty appearance.
A lowered suspension and wider tires, providing improved handling and a more aggressive stance.
There is also a removal of the back seats, and the back bumper in favor of a custom-built rear end for the car. He likes the look of having the back with a rear diffuser. This improves the car's aerodynamic properties by enhancing the transition between the high-velocity airflow underneath the car and the much slower free stream airflow of the ambient atmosphere.

Performance and Future Plans:
While the Cyber Roadster retains the dual-motor powertrain of the Tesla Model 3, its performance has not been fully evaluated. However, the lowered roofline and other aerodynamic modifications are likely to improve its performance compared to the 2018 Model 3 he purchased for $14,000.
As for future plans, Andreyev has not revealed any specific intentions, but it is possible that he may continue to refine and improve the Cyber Roadster or even create additional custom Tesla-inspired vehicles.
The Cyber Roadster from Cyber Hooligan is a testament to the creativity and passion of the Tesla community. By combining the best elements of the Cybertruck and next-gen Roadster, David Andreyev has created a unique and eye-catching vehicle that showcases the potential for customization and innovation in the world of electric vehicles. As the automotive industry continues to evolve, projects like the Cyber Roadster serve as a reminder of the exciting possibilities that lie ahead.
I'm impressed that he's been working on this vehicle for about a year and a half and is finally nearing completion. His latest X post shows that he plans to have this painted black. If Tesla isn't releasing its New Roadster, it looks like David just decided to build his own!
I'll be sure to update when he completes the entire project.
