Used Tesla Model 3 For Less Than $33,000
You can now get a Model 3 RWD that is used for about $33,000. The car in this case has about 20,000 miles on it and an EPA range of about 240 miles. This is a 2019 standard range Model 3.
This Model 3 comes with white paint, 18-inch Aero wheels, and an all black partial premium interior.
What's interesting about this is that if you live in certain states, you can get a new 2023 Model 3 RWD with more range, that will end up costing less than this.
It's quite possible that the $7,500 EV tax credit goes away after this year though, as the government in the U.S. is going to realize that they are losing too much money with it.
Things To Consider
20,000 miles is about a couple of years of usage and puts the car at about 25% of the way to its warranty, so that is still a lot of room to run. Most Tesla vehicles have an 8-year warranty, and that puts this car halfway to its warranty in terms of years.
If it were me, I wouldn't get this used Tesla Model 3, but instead would just get a 2023 Model 3 RWD new because with the tax credit, it will be about the same price. However, it's important to know that a used EV still gets a $3,750 tax credit, making this cheaper.
It's also important to remember that batteries lose range over time, just like your phone loses its maximum charge over time. Expect this vehicle to have anywhere between 5% to 10% less range than what is listed.
My Model 3 RWD from 2022 is about 3.5% less in its range from when I bought it after about a year of use and 10,000 miles.
What do you think about getting a Model 3 for less than $33,000? Would you get one at this price?
It's pretty nuts that you can now get a pre-owned Model 3 with almost no miles for $33k.
If you're in the market for an EV why would you buy any other car? pic.twitter.com/LBopfkLavi
