Once Stellantis got rid of Carlos Tavares, the company’s North American brands, like Jeep and Ram, started getting realistic about improving sales and building vehicles that the consumers actually want. Last November, Jeep did something rarely seen in the automotive sector. The company admitted that it had raised the prices too much on the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer and reduced the cost to consumers. With the new price, the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer just received the Vincentric Best Value in America for the Luxury Large SUV segment.
Why Jeep Reduced Sticker Prices
When Jeep lowered the prices last November, Jeep issued this statement,
"Built to appeal to the heart of the full-size SUV market, the Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer lineups are now even better equipped and more competitively priced for the 2025 model year,” said Bob Broderdorf, senior vice president of Jeep North America. “By lowering MSRPs as much as $7,000 and enhancing standard equipment, such as adaptive cruise control on the Wagoneer and a front passenger interactive display on the Grand Wagoneer, these vehicles have become even more compelling.”
Bob Broderdorf is now the CEO of Jeep and is rapidly raking steps to right the company. Jeep recently suspended work at the Brampton, Ontario, plant which was changing over to produce the future all-electric Compass. Jeep is reconsidering whether the timing is right to build an all-electric small Jeep. It appears that demand for electric vehicles was way over estimated. Now that President Trump has eased or lifted the mandates to go all-electric, automakers are reexamining demand.
2025 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer
Once Bob Broderdorf and his team took over the controls of Jeep, they repositioned the Wagoneer to better compete in the market. The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer is now the most affordable full-size SUV in America, starting at an MSRP of $59,945.
The Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer offer more levels of standard technology and safety features for 2025. Both the Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer are available with High Output Hurricane Twin Turbo inline-six engine that gives better horsepower and torque than previous engines. The new engine is rated up to 540 horsepower and 521 lb.-ft. of torque, giving drivers plenty of power for towing.
The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer and the 2025 Jeep Grand Wagoneer took home Best Value in America: Luxury Large SUV. The Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer lineups lowered prices as much as $7,000. Vincentric found the large Jeep SUVs beat expected ownership costs by as much as 4.5 percent. That translates to ownership costs $15,907 cheaper than the nearest competitor.
