Jeep is celebrating a phenomenal 2023 Jeep Beach event with more Jeeps than ever turning out to mark the 20th anniversary of the gathering in Daytona Beach, Florida. Jeep is estimating a crowd of 230,000 people and more than 30,000 Jeep SUVs from all over the country were there. Jeep also had a record number of electrified vehicles at the event, including the Jeep Wrangler Magneto 3.0 EV Concept, 1978 Jeep Cherokee 4xe Concept and lots of Wrangler 4xes. The EVs led the Jeep Beach parade on Daytona Beach along with the 2024 Jeep Wrangler and 2024 Jeep Wrangler 392.
Jim Morrison, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America, led the parade, driving the Magneto.
“The Jeep community is as strong as I’ve ever seen it,” said Morrison. “Our fans have always demonstrated an unparalleled love for the brand and are incredibly passionate about their Jeep vehicles. We saw well over 230,000 Jeep brand enthusiasts throughout the week, and with over 30,000 Jeep 4x4 SUVs on site, I don’t think I saw any two the same.”
Focus on the Electrified Jeeps for Jeep Beach
Every year, Jeep Beach takes over 6.5 acres of the infield of Daytona International Speedway and then spills onto the streets of Daytona Beach.
Jeep fans were treated to some of the most recent Jeep innovations. The Jeep Wrangler Magneto 3.0 EV concept and the 1978 Jeep Cherokee 4xe both just debuted at the 2023 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, in April.
Jeep Beach Events Highlight Innovation
During the 2023 Jeep Beach week that just wrapped up Sunday, fans were able to ride the Jeep obstacle course with a professional driver in 2023 Jeep vehicles, including the electrified Wrangler 4xe and Grand Cherokee 4xe.
Other vehicles on display included: the new 2023 Compass Trailhawk, the Grand Cherokee 4xe Summit Reserve, Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve 4x4, Wrangler Rubicon, Wrangler 4xe, Gladiator Rubicon, and the Wrangler Jeep Beach 20th Anniversary Edition.

Jeep Beach Community Involvement
The Jeep Beach gathering is one of the largest events in the nation for Jeep enthusiasts. Jeep Beach 2023 raises funds for local and national charities. Since 2012, Jeep Beach has donated more than $2 million to local charities through the event’s weeklong fundraising efforts. All proceeds raised are distributed to charities throughout central Florida counties.
