Ram is Out With a Custom 2021 Ram 1500 - Only 250 Will be Made

Ram seems to have perfected the ability to create special editions that are customized straight from their factory custom shops. The designers are out with a new Mopar 2021 Ram 1500 special edition that is sure to turn heads. Only 250 of the limited edition custom trucks will be built.

The new 2021 Ram 1500 builds on the Big Horn/Lone Star Crew cab trim adding lots of Mopar accessories including: off-road style running boards, spray-in bedliner and body-color one-piece tonneau cover. The special editions will only be built in four colors and will have an owner kit identifying it as a special edition. The kit contains a custom-made, personalized metal certificate of authenticity with serialized vehicle-build number.

“The Mopar ’21 Ram 1500 is a head-turning, factory-backed rig straight from our custom shop,” said Mark Bosanac, North America Vice President, Mopar Service, Parts & Customer Care. “Across the entire Ram lineup, Mopar offers more than 600 quality-tested, factory-backed parts and accessories.”

Ram pretty much pioneered the idea of building custom shops right near vehicle factories so that buyers could order special packages at the dealer and have them assembled by factory trained technicians and have the entire package covered under the vehicle warranty. Ordering the special editions at the dealer also allows the buyer to get all of the Mopar accessories they want, like custom running boards and light bars, and have the price built into the price of the vehicle. The suggested price for the new special edition package is $8,500.

• Serialized Mopar ’21 instrument-panel badge with build-sequence number
• Premium cloth seats feature Light Diesel Gray stitching, embroidered Mopar logo in seatbacks and Molle bags on back sides

• Mopar black off-road style running boards
• Spray-in bedliner
• Adjustable tie downs
• Tow hooks
• Dual-trailer camera prep
• Body-color, one-piece tonneau cover
• All-weather floor mats

Yes, It Has a HEMI In It

The 2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn/Lone Star Crew Cab, special edition is powered by the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8. It will only be available in four colors: Billet Silver, Bright White, Flame Red and Hydro Blue. 210 of the trucks will be built for the U.S. and 40 will be sold in Canada.

Mopar ’21 Ram 1500 special edition trucks will arrive in select dealerships in the U.S. and Canada this summer.
