New Technology in the 2022 Ram 1500
Nearly every person with a pickup truck tows something at some point while they own their truck. The 2022 Ram 1500 has a new Trailer Hitch Light. The new light is included in Trailer Tow Group. The Trailer Hitch Light has four LED lights that provide light from directly above the trailer hitch. The new light should help make it easier to hook up after a long day of boating, or in the early morning hours when you are leaving a campground! The light should also make life easier for construction crews, landscape crews and everyone who has to pull a trailer frequently.
The new Uconnect 5 system is standard on Ram 1500 Big Horn models and above. The new infotainment system is four times faster. The system comes with a 12-inch touchscreen and is designed to be easily personalized, putting all of your important information at the touch of a finger.
Ram has also upgraded its air filtration system to provide cleaner air in the cabin. The Ram Clean Air System is standard on all 2022 Ram 1500 models. The new cabin filters eliminate 95% of air particulates like pollen and other allergens.
Ram has several new trim packages available for 2022 and a striking new shade of blue that is featured in the above Ram photo.
Ram 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition
The 2022 Ram 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition joins the lineup in the eye-catching Blue Shade color. This Anniversary Edition is all about luxury. The interior is just as striking with Indigo blue and Sea Salt quilted leather seats. The 2022 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition also features special badging and interior trim.
The 2022 Ram 1500 Longhorn SouthFork
The new 2022 Ram Longhorn SouthFork model replaces the Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary package. The SouthFork is tricked out to please even the ritziest Dallas resident. (Younger Ram owners may not get the Dallas TV show reference. SouthFork was the name of the Ewing Ranch). The Ram 1500 Longhorn SouthFork has a bed step, spray-in bedliner, and all-terrain tires. It also has cargo tie-down hooks, LED box lights and a cargo divider. The SouthFork has a special Mountain Brown Interior with bucket seats, suede door bolsters and special leather trim. It also has a multifunction tailgate.
2022 1500 GT Laramie and Ram 1500 GT Rebel Crew Cab
Ram is back with two special GT models that are all about performance. The 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie and the Rebel GTs feature performance hoods and GT decals. They have special cold air intakes. The GTs have new flat-bottom steering wheels, aluminum paddle shifters and metal pedals. They also have performance floor shifters.
2022 Ram 1500 BackCountry
The 2022 Ram 1500 BackCountry package is available on Ram 1500 Big Horn and Lone Star models with 5.7-liter V-8 engines. This new package is all about giving you what you need to get into the back country. The BackCountry includes a body-color grille surround, black two-tone exterior paint, black badging, exhaust, headlights, running boards and mirrors, tonneau cover, Bed Utility Group and Off Road Group.
