When the latest generation Toyota Highlander first arrived for potential customers to review and test drive, it greeted customers with just about everything that was shiny and new and good about the automotive world. New technology that connects people more than ever before. Brand new safety devices that keep drivers and families safer and less distracted. Plus a brand new Highlander Hybrid.
2020 Highlander Hybrid and great mpg
Highlander features a state-of-the-art lineup of Hybrids, available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, for the first time ever. Hybrids that combine for up to 36 miles per gallon. I have driven one for an extended period of time. Smooth, comfortable, quiet and very fun to drive are all things that came to mind during my review.
You can now tap into wildly popular applications Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa to help you make difficult music choices, make and receive phone calls and text messages, and use your preferred navigation system of choice. The 2020 Highlander even comes with a backup camera washer.
And did I mention – brand new color choices for every personality, taste and flavor.
Available colors for 2020 Highlander
Look for eight different colors to choose from while walking the rows and rows of inventory at your local Toyota dealership. Some have carried over from the previous generation. Some are new and funky and fresh.
Ruby Flare Pearl, Blizzard Pearl, Midnight Black Metallic, Moon Dust, Celestial Silver Metallic, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Opulent Amber and Blueprint. A wider assortment of colors than in any other Highlander generation.
