About five hours ago Tesla CEO Elon Musk Tweeted something breaking about Twitter's policy of suppressing free speech. Elon wrote "The Twitter Files on free speech suppression soon to be published on Twitter itself. The public deserves to know what really happened." This is really "wow."
This is going to blow people's minds and set the record straight. A lot of people will be ready to discuss Twitter's files of suppressing free speech further when Elon Musk is ready to publish them.
I believe it's the right thing to do and it's time to hear the truth. Raise your hand and comment below if you think Elon Musk should make public all internal discussions about the decision to censor a lot of accounts and stories, especially before the US elections.
Musk had previously tweeted his belief that Twitter needed to come clean about how the bombshell reporting on the first family’s overseas business interests was blocked from being shared on the site.
Musk, who has described himself as a "free speech absolutist," said he acquired the platform because "it is important to the future of civilization to have a common digital town square, where a wide range of beliefs can be debated in a healthy manner, without resorting violence."
