This truck is important to me because it was the first vehicle I bought with without help from my mother and father.
What is unique about it is I hardly see any burgundy Ford F150s with this trim package. I am not saying I never see them. It's just I usually see other colors.
I bought it in May of 2006 after I graduated from boot camp (USCG).
It was in great condition with low miles. You can tell the previous owner took care of it. I put a 5 inch Rough Country suspension lift, a 3 inch body lift, and dual exhaust on it.
I bought this Ford F150 truck simply because I wanted a vehicle that would take me anywhere anytime. This truck been through the mud, snow, sand, and clay. It has never left me stranded because of mechanical failures.
I am originally from Bay St. Louis, MS. I've always had cars, but after Hurricane Katrina wrecked havoc on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I learned the value of a truck like Ford F150. I enlisted in the United States Coast Guard shortly afterwards and after I graduated I bought me a dependable truck.
Currently, I plan on re-gearing it, putting a set of 38/15.50/20 tires, and a full exhaust (long tube headers, high flow cats).
