2015 Subaru WRX STI on hand for engaging motorsports fan day

The All Japan Rally Championship 2015 Subaru WRX STI is unveiled for fans at the Subaru motorsports fan day. How does Subaru engage their fans?

Motorsport is a big part of what Subaru does around the globe and it’s even bigger in the home country of Japan. At Subaru headquarters today, STI unveils all the 2015 Japan motorsports cars along with their drivers. Subaru brings the new 2015 WRX STI All Japan Rally Championship race car to the new Subaru Ebisu showroom today for the motorsports fan meeting along with six other race cars.

All the Subaru race teams and drivers will be on hand to answer questions and talk about the new cars and upcoming season. The free event is be open to only 80 lucky fans. The event will also include the 2015 Subaru WRX STI Nurburgring 24-hr challenge car and 2015 Subaru BRZ GT300 race car.

STI on hand to introduce the teams and drivers

STI general manager, Tatsumi Eiji, will introduce BRZ GT300 drivers Takuto Iguchi and Yamauchi Hideki, Nurburgring 24-hour endurance race driver Kota Sasaki. Also at the fan day will be All Japan Rally Championship driver Katsuta Norihiko and co-driver Adachi Sayaka. In addition, fans will get to meet the GT86/BRZ Spec car and CG Robot Racing Team and drivers Takuto Iguchi, MiuraAi and Kubo RinTaro.

Fans will make their way to the new Subaru Ebisu showroom in Tokyo that opened last year. The event will even be broadcast live on U-STREAM and two co-student official channels. At the event, questions will be answered via a Nico students official channel and there will also be an auction of STI gear, a rock-paper-scissors tournament and photo session with the cars and drivers.

Seven 2015 Subaru race cars are on hand for motorsports fans at the new Subaru building today. Subaru gets the fans involved at the start of the 2015 motorsport season in a big way in Japan. It keeps the fans engaged with the cars and gets them up close to the drivers. The new 2015 Subaru WRX STI is the most popular with the fans because it’s a performance car they can drive on the street and many will be driven to the event.
