BMW DTM driver Marco Wittmann wins the DTM driver’s title again in the 2016 season finale at the Hockenheimring. To honor his achievement, BMW M GmbH has announced a new BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition. You need to act fast if you want one, only 200 examples will be available worldwide.
The special edition M4 gets a 16 percent increase in power over the standard 3.0-liter TwinTurbo inline six engine, and produces an additional 51 kW/69 hp, and now pumps out 368 kW/500 hp. It gets a maximum torque of 600 Nm, an increase of 50 Nm. This special M4 DTM model will be fast. It will launch from 0-62 mph in just 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 305 km/h (limited).

Enhancements inside and out
It also gets aerodynamic enhancements and carbon fiber components like a front splitter, aero flicks in front of the front wheel arches, exterior mirror caps, side skirt attachments, a rear diffuser and a large rear wing mounted on the trunk lid.
Inside the BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition gets special features including M Carbon bucket seats covered in exclusive Alcantara/Leather Merino. It also features an M Sports steering wheel sporting a grey “12 o’clock” marker. Behind the front bucket seats, a white rollover bar replaces the rear seat system.
Additional upgrades underneath
To keep this M4 firmly planted on the road or track, it comes with light alloy wheels featuring a star spoke design 666 M in Orbit Grey matte wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 high- size 265/35 R19 at the front and 285/30 R20 out back. Additional stopping power is provided by M carbon-ceramic brakes. It also gets an adjustable 3-way coilover suspension allowing the car’s handling characteristics to be adapted according to personal taste.
The BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition 2016 only comes in Alpine White patterned after the BMW Motorsports look. The 2016 BMW M4 Champion Edition is available now at a price of 148,500 Euros (Germany). You will need to act fast to get one.
