Tesla Cybertruck Gets Bricked & Locks Out Owner in the Middle of the Highway, Tesla Fans Say “He Should Have Left a Door Open”

A Tesla Cybertruck gets bricked and locks the owner out on the highway. The owner is frustrated; however, Tesla fans say, “You should have left the door open.”

A distressed Tesla Cybertruck owner from Missouri, Inger Brane, recently reached out to fellow Cybertruck owners online after his truck died, leaving him stranded in the middle of the road.

Not only that, Inger got out of his Cybertruck to assess the problem. Unfortunately, his truck became completely bricked at that time, making it impossible for him to reenter the vehicle.

Inger shared his predicament with the Cybertruck Owners Only group on Facebook.

Here is what he wrote…

“My truck just died in the middle of the road. No power, and I am locked out. How do I get back inside?”

It’s bad enough when a vehicle stops working in the middle of the road; however, being completely locked out and unable to access the inside is a whole another level of inconvenience.

Having said that, although the situation sounds bad, it could’ve gone even worse. If Inger had left his phone in his truck, he would have been unable to call for help, compounding his already unenviable situation.

In this respect, the Cybertruck owner should consider himself lucky.

Going back to Inger’s situation, the first thing people wanted to know was whether he had run his truck’s battery to zero.

However, the Cybertruck owner responded, “It was fully charged.”

At this point, most people would be unhappy with Tesla or the Cybertruck; however, fellow Cybertruck owners say it's Inger’s fault he found himself in this situation.

A Cybertruck owner, Williams Ainsley, writes, “Why didn’t you leave a door open? Shaking my head.”

I personally see this as victim blaming; however, please let me know what you think in the comments.

Going back to Inger’s case, so far, we’ve seen multiple Cybertruck owners who have faced catastrophic failures and most of these people end their statements claiming “they still love the truck.”

For example, a Cybertruck owner who snapped his rear subframe in half after he ran into a pothole says, “This is the most amazing truck ever.”

However, Inger appears to have had it with his truck. Responding to a group member who suggested possible ways he could get his Cybertruck to wake up, Inger responds, “Had it towed. What a pain.”

Overall, it’s surprising to see Cybertruck owners who have paid over $100,000 for their vehicles dealing with so many failures. Please let me know what should be done in the comments. There should always be more options. Isn’t there an external keypad to unlock the door? Tesla should build in options for many scenarios. Maybe a help function from your phone ? A truck that expensive should be more customer focused ! That is a dangerous problem and poor design in my
opinion.

While the owner probably should have left a door open or window down, Only an a**hole would blame the owner for getting locked out. Offer a solution or shut your f*c#ing mouth. You're the type that drives slower on the passing lane so you can make a point aren't you .... No control over your own life but you go around telling everyone what they should be doing or how they should respond to different challenges in life. What's next Ubee? (You be useless) Gonna go tell the girlscouts not to burn the cookies?

These Cybertruck fan boys are seriously brainwashed into believing that this is a worthwhile vehicle. If my Raptor R stopped running on the road, then locked me out, and I had no other option but to tow it. I would drive it down William Clay Ford Jr.'s throat, tow truck and all. Luckily this is a non-issue for me.

This happened to me. Here's the explanation: If the car has a failure that the software believes will make a fire hazard with the battery, the onboard computer sends a signal to a pyrotechnic fuse that blows and disconnects the main battery from the entire car. Now the car no longer has power to drive, so it coasts to a stop. The car's electronics are still powered by a small low voltage battery that can only last 10 mins and then the car is completely dead, including the doors, windows, frunk, trunk, hazard lights, the main screen, etc. It's a horrible design. No one tells you that before you buy.

What's with the comments about leaving a door open? If you're stopped in traffic and you're taking up a lane or the shoulder you don't leave your door open or it may get knocked off by a passing car.

I've seen at least twenty articles of the cybertruck bricking, falling apart, breaking the frame, you name it. It's pretty sad, invest that much money into something only for it to do things like that.

And blaming him by saying "you should have left the door open?" He shouldn't have to. Musk cult will do anything to keep the blame from him ans his relsly terrible vehicle.

All these Tesla stans....the truck is garbage. It's not a truck, it's ugly as hell, and Tesla won't fix anything without a fight.
