Remove the Side Mirrors From Your Cybertruck
Removing the side mirrors from your Tesla Cybertruck is pretty simple, actually. It takes the removal of some screws while detaching the mirror connection to the truck.
A mechanic shows how to disassemble the side mirror for the Cybertruck. To do so, he opened the passenger side door and said that you didn't have to remove anything from the door panel.
Instead, you have a seal that you can easily pull back from the far left side of the passenger door. Once you do that, you'll find 3 40 mm torecs (which I think he means are screws). You'll also find a cable that needs to be disconnected.
At this point, simply unscrew the 3 screws using a Phillips screwdriver. It appears to me to be a standard size screwdriver. Upon removing the three screws, you can unsnap the remaining connections at the bottom of the panel the screws were attached to. It looks like a single cable connection.
Once you do that, the side mirror is disconnected! After that, simply put the seal back to what it was connected to.

The Cybertruck side mirrors look very simple to remove. I have not seen anyone try to remove the side mirrors off of a Model 3 or Model Y, but I am guessing that it is a bit more complicated than it is here.
Elon Musk even said that the side mirrors on the Cybertruck would be removable. Essentially, there are 3 screws connecting the mirror, along with a cable, and what appear to be some "snapping" connections that have to be undone, in order to remove the mirror.
Effect on Range and Efficiency
There has been no word on efficiency and range tests done without the mirrors on the Cybertruck, but we'll be sure to update when that happens.
However, even a 5% increase in range would mean 336 miles of range for the Cyberbeast (320*1.05) and 357 miles for the dual-motor/AWD (340*1.05).

Cybertruck Frenzy
The Cybertruck has had a frenzy of attention on it ever since the original delivery event at the end of November. In just a few weeks, there have been a variety of celebrity sightings, such as Jay Leno.
It's going to be a hot item for sure - and I think there will be those that are willing to pay top dollar in order to rent your Cybertruck for events or whatever else it is going to be used for. It's an attention grabber and draws eyeballs to it.

The Tesla Cybertruck had a frenzy of attention as emails were getting sent to early reservation holders to configure their Foundation series Cybertruck. However, it seems that those emails have stopped now due to the rush of orders that happened.
It's still unclear if Tesla is doing 1,000 Foundation series orders only and that is it - or if Tesla will make more than 1,000 Foundation series Cybertrucks. These Cybertrucks have special features, laser engraving, and lifetime FSD added in the cost, which ranges from $100,000 to $120,000.

At some point, Tesla will stop making Foundation series Cybertrucks, whether that is after 1,000 of them or 10,000, and the price will go down to the standard price for the AWD (dual-motor) and Cyberbeast (tri-motor), which is $79,990 and about $96,990 respectively.
The Cybertruck should sell about 250,000 units a year, and there are those that think if the Cybertruck is sold worldwide that it could get as high as 1 million units sold a year. It will be one of Tesla's highest margin products as it doesn't require any paint.
What do you think about the removal of the Cybertruck side mirrors here? Does it look simple to you?
