Tesla Model 3 Long Range Orders Pushed Back
The Tesla Model 3 Long Range, also known by some as the Highland Model 3, is seeing quite a lot of demand in the U.S., despite not having the $7,500 tax credit for it. Its delivery date was pushed back recently to April-May, just two weeks after the delivery date was changed to March-April.
Tesla made a lot of improvements in this vehicle and the range is more - with a stricter standard for EPA range, and it's still higher than the prior Model 3 Long Range, which reported 333 miles of range.
If I could go back in time, I would have definitely gotten this vehicle and waited until 2024 to get my Model 3.

The Model 3 Long Range is outselling the Model Y Long Range in the U.S., it seems like, due to the delivery dates that keep getting pushed back for the Model 3 Long Range.
The Model Y Long Range in the U.S. benefits from an instant point of sale Tax Credit of $7,500. What will happen if the Model 3 Long Range starts benefiting from this tax credit again? I think it will be quite incredible.
Tesla has created a compelling product with dozens upon dozens of improvements. I think the range it has resolves any range concerns people have, and the car has enough features and functionality to drive new buyers to it.
Will This Demand Keep On Happening?
I think this kind of demand for the Tesla Model 3 Long Range is going to continue to happen. It's a compelling EV, for just $47,490. This price was raised again recently, making it about $1,500 more than its original launch price.
The price, by the law of supply and demand, will keep going up as long as the delivery dates keep getting pushed back.
This shows that people really want this car!

The Model 3 is definitely not dead at all - it's thriving, both in China, and now the U.S.
Where will it release next, Europe at Giga Berlin?
