Tesla CEO Elon Musk just tweeted saying Tesla's Giga Berlin will have the most advanced paint shop. He wrote "Giga Berlin will have world’s most advanced paint shop, with more layers of stunning colors that subtly change with curvature." Musk also clarified that Fremont and Shanghai Tesla factories will also be upgraded over time, but it’s hard to retrofit these improvements to an operating paint shop.
Elon Musk also tweeted that "initial production at Giga Berlin is Model Y."
