Today I received this letter from a Tesla blogger and twitter James sharing how pleased he is with the Autopilot on his Tesla Model 3 vehicle and how the Autopilot makes a slow traffic a stress free driving. Here is what James wrote to Torque news.
My name is James B. @Locobooff on Twitter and Locoboof on YouTube. I commute 110 miles and day in my 2018 Long Range RWD Tesla Model 3 with Autopilot.
For me, Autopilot is a absolute game changer. It takes away all of the stress and agony that comes along with commuting in the Bay Area. My wife says I get home from work less stressed.
Autopilot is truly amazing and is something everyone should experience. I personally recommend getting the feature if you have a Tesla or trying it out at your local Tesla gallery.
I am fortunate enough to afford a Tesla, but I wouldn’t have gotten it without Autopilot. Is it a costly software upgrade? Sure, but is it worth it? Absolutely. It’s like I’m living in the future. Imagine getting on the freeway and not have to press the accelerator or brake for 50 minutes. Not having to manually switch lanes. Not having to exit or enter another freeway. But, instead, watching your car do it all for you.
Of course, you need to have your hands on the steering wheel ready to take over at all times. Just like any responsible owner would. But, not having to is absolutely priceless.
