Yesterday Tesla moved a bunch of heavy machinery to Giga Texas. It's clearing the land, preparing for construction.
This morning one of Torque News community members, named Randy D contacted me, informing that he took this drone footage of Giga Texas, showing in detail what Tesla has accomplished in two short days.
"This factory site is definitely unique and I can now see why Elon somewhat described it as an "Ecological Paradise", as you can see from just the land that they've cleared so far (it is a LOT), that special care is being taken to keep trees and unique water features that I can guarantee you will be part of the landscaping design. It's going to be amazing and I would say from the looks of it, a lot more spread out than say GigaBerlin and GigaShanghai, but this one will be open to the public and have those public paces and a delivery center and other details we have yet to know about, included on this site," wrote Randy in an email to Torque News.
