Tesla's Eye Opening Video Of Its Cybercab Reveals The Future Of Autonomous Transport With Plenty Of Trunk Space And The Ability To Sleep While The Car Drives

Tesla has just released a video on their X account, showing an autonomous ride in one of its cybercabs. You can even fall asleep while the car drives itself to your destination.

Tesla Cybercab - Cheap and Private Transport

Imagine for a moment the ability to pull out your phone and instead of waiting 10 minutes or more, that in a mere 3 minutes, a Tesla Cybercab will come to your location and give you a ride with no human driver, privacy, and a ton of trunk space to put your things in.

Now imagine you are going 20 miles home and instead of a long wait, and an expensive trip home for $40.00, you instead pay a mere $4.00 to get home. You can sleep in the car or play a variety of games on the giant main screen - or you can do work on your computer or tablet device.

The Future Of Autonomy

Tesla's video showcases the Cybercab driving in a busy city. It's a simple video and is going to be made cheaply - eventually for $15,000. It is made similarly to the Cybertruck.

While in a Cybercab, many people are seen doing a variety of activities, including doing a Zoom call, watching a rocket lift off, doing calculus, and more.

The Cybercab shows a personalized ride, and it knows your name. You'll also be able to adjust the temperature inside the Cybercab to fit your comfort level.

Tesla's Cybercab Has An Enormous Amount Of Trunk Space

Tesla's video of its Cybercab showcases the future of autonomous transport. There is a TON of space in the trunk of the Cybercab. Just look at this picture of someone who has piled a bunch of belongings into the trunk:

The Tesla app to summon the Cybercab looks pretty simple. It's a simple as pressing a button to summon a Cybercab to you. Once you press that button, the app will show you how far away your ride is to the minute.

The simplicity of simply pressing a button to summon the Cybercab is underrated. It's going to be much simpler than using Uber and Lyft. You won't have to sift through different cars that might come and get you, and you won't have to worry about a bad Uber driver. You'll get the same experience every time.

The car pulls up to the curb to pick you up, the butterfly doors and trunk open up simultaneously, and you can put your belongings in the trunk and get in. Once in, most likely you'll be able to input your destination - or you'll have already put your destination in via the app.

Then, it's a smooth ride in what will be safer than human transport by 2025, and much safer than a human in the years to come after that.

The Cybercab is a simple vehicle - but comfortable and modern, and still has all the features of a Tesla. It is going to be owned by fleet managers all over the world. Fleet managers will own Cybercabs that they purchased from Tesla and be responsible for cleaning and maintaining them.

I plan on being a fleet manager of at least one of these - and hopefully more when it comes out!

What do you think of Tesla's video of the Cybercab? Would you get one of these? Would you ride in one?
